"Great food (and lots, for a very good price), great white wine, good music and unique atmosphere! Staff were friendly, prompt & spoke english, so we were able to communicate just fine. I think we got lucky as they managed to fit us in for lunch (party of 2) without a booking. They seemed to take card too, although we paid cash. Overall recommended (Not the best photos, but everything looked tasty)"

"Affordable with a unique "Socialist" environment. The food was fantastic. When we entered, we noticed that each table of locals had ordered the mussels. So, we did likewise. Oh my goodness! We dipped bread in the bowl after we had eaten all of them. This place is open each day but Wednesday."

"The food is extremely good. The atmosphere is awesome. The waiter was very nice, helpful and attentive. We order what he has recommended us. My girlfriend has a wheat allergy and he recommended something for her too. When the food was served he told us again what dish does not contain wheat flour. I liked the energy of the place as a whole. The prices are very good. Thank you for the unforgettable experience. Bandiera rossa la trionfera!"

"The food was INCREDIBLE. And fairly priced. Two antipastos, a main dish and a bottle's worth of wine for 40 euros. The only thing was the service was slow but they were serving a lot of people with different plates. Also, the waiters didn't speak much english so we had to get someone to translate but they were pretty understanding. They initially told us it was full but we went to their second location, right beside and we were seated in no time. Would definitely recommend!"

"Wow, just, wow! If you want to experience Livornese culture at its authentic best, this place is NOT to be missed! The vibe is incredible with locals singing along - as they eat - to laughably loud music that (I think) is mostly partisan songs proclaiming Livorno’s communist heritage. Did I mention the food? If you like seafood, in my humble opinion it is undoubtedly the best the city has to offer. For the love of God, just go. It might just be one of the best restaurants in Italy."
